The dawn will rise tomorrow
upon another day,
And all the fears that you possess
are bound to fade away.

The sun will rise high in the sky
to warm your heart and soul,
And be a source of newfound strength
to help you reach your goal.

This world is filled with sorrows
that captivate us all,
And at any given moment,
anyone can fall.

We live in a world
overrun with fear and strife,
And sometimes it would seem
that there’s no hope in this life.

But the grass will grow around you
to support you as you stride,
And as you walk into success
Your heart will swell with pride.

When you walk you’ll stop to think
about the past days,
And of how you’ve hurt so many people
in so many different ways.

And so you’ll hate no man again
the way you’ve done before,
Instead, you’ll do the best you can
to go and hate no more.

When the day is over and done
And the sun sets in the west,
Be sure that you can always say:
"Today I gave my best."
